Zack Files 01My Great-Grandfather¿s In the Litter Box Grosset &Dunlap 1996, Pgs 64, $4.99 By: Dan Greenburg and Jack E. Davis ISBN:9780448412603 What would you do if your cat turned out to be your great grandpa? In this book by Dan Greenburg, Zack gets a cat that happens to be his great grandfather. They take a wild trip to Chicago in quest to find his grandma Leah and they tell her about Chicago. On their way a problem occurs and they find out something that could change life as they know it. This is a book that young readers will enjoy. I recommend it for kids younger than 11 and for an amazing bed time story for young readers. -Mauricio Ballon

Zack's 'Great-Grandpa' was a cat!! At a first, Zack didn't believed that, but the cat can talk and he tells many many things when he was Zack's Great-Grandpa to Zack, then he believed him. And also Zack's Dad. But Zack's Grandmother cannot believe it, because if the cat is right then the cat was her father!!

My son is not interested in the usual fantasy stories and we got a recommendation for the Zack Files from our local library. He LOVES them! We read one almost every night. They are quick reads which makes it easier to get an active, electronic addicted boy to stay interested. Looking for something different to get a young boy to read, try the Zack Files!
