Overview

Those who work in war and war-like situationsmilitary, police, firefighters, border patrolface danger each day. Their spouses and children, left at home, often worry and stress with emotions they do not know how to release. The writing exercises in Write Out Loud! allow emotional release and connect all family members, including children. This journaling guide is designed for those who experience the uncertainty of danger and loss, as well as the upheaval of frequent moves, absence and reintegration. Other activities include trauma intervention tools such as Emotional Freedom Techniques, Sleep intervention and Guided Imagery.
