The second book in Lisa Bingham's romantic three sisters trilogy begun in "Wild Escapades" pairs a prim governess with a roguish sea captain and plunges them into a perilous situation awash with desire.

Although the plot wasn't without promise, Lisa Bingham failed to develop it or the lackluster characters contained within. Long story short: a woman finds employment as a governess for a Captain's less than cultured little sister who'd been stranded on an island for several years and raised by natives. Unfortunately, I never grew to care for the governess, the little sister or the Captain, all of whom lacked personality and depth. Also absent was the passion, suspense and romance ordinarily associated with books categorized as romance novels. All in all, it was a complete waste of eye energy.
