An excellent and often amusing bluegrass set that goes around some unusual and fascinating corners, starting with the title track, an excellent rendition of the Cream song. The cover of Paul Simon's "The Boy in the Bubble" isn't quite as successful, but it's a noble attempt well in keeping with the superior performances to be found on this album. Definitely not your average bluegrass band, and definitely worth checking out.

This is a wonderful treasure! The bluegrass genre gets a real lift from the tight harmonies featured on this album. There's a perceptible jazziness to the arrangements, a CSN&Y feel to the vocals, and simply excellent pickin'. A favorite cut, 'Masters/Dixieland Lady', has been a hallmark tune of the Drifters' live performances for at least twenty years. The version on this disc is both chilling and foot-stompin'... quite a feat.Recommended to one and all.
