Overview

Fresh on the heals of the successful What Dogs Teach Us, author Glenn Dromgoole offers the similarly insightful What Cats Teach Us. Cats, better known for their reprimanding attitudes towards humans, still have much to teach. From keeping fastidious grooming habits, eating a healthy fish diet and getting plenty of rest to nurturing your independent spirit, expressing your individuality and embracing your curiosity, What Cats Teach Us reminds us of what in life is important to avoid, defend, cherish and enjoy. Glenn Dromgoole is a 30-year veteran editor and reporter. He grew up in a house full of cats, beginning with Ginger and progressing through the progeny of Baby Kitty. He lives in Abilene, Texas.

This not-quite-6"-square book is chock-full of appealing cat pictures with cute little sayings, humorous and helpful, to accompany each photograph. I got the book for my grandaughter Sarah's birthday, but I had to enjoy it first myself. I read it back-to-back with "Bad Cat" and this one is better!

Very cute book. Pictures are adorable, and the messages really are valuable lessons to learn, ie. lay in the sun whenever possible, if you look out the window too much, life will pass you by. It is the kind of book you will pick up again and again.
