"Far beyond the moon and stars, twenty light-years south of Mars / Spins the gentle Bunny Planet / And the Bunny Queen is Janet"This lovely boxed set of three small books is a must-read for any one who has ever had a bad day. It is the ultimate comfort collection. I often give this as a gift to both adults and children. Brim-full of imagination and charm, there is nothing treacly or saccharine in these feel better stories. Highly recommended.

I first got this set as a gift for my third daughter, who is now a teacher in her twenties. They are absolutely wonderful, and I was so glad to see them still in print. I am ordering them again - this time for my three grandchildren. I know they will love a visit to the bunny planet.

I just got thru reading this series of books with my son who brought them home with him from the library. They are all very good and are those kinds of stories that you read that you wish you could be a part of to escape from reality. Sadly I've never heard of these before, but now that I've read them, I'll certainly never forget them.

Rosemary Wells' Bunny Planet trilogy is a fine set of books. Our family has found comfort in the Bunny Planet since our 12-year-old son was a baby. Last summer our son was having a particularly upsetting evening. His brother was driving him nuts, and things were generally not working out for him. He burst into tears and ran into his room. I waited a couple of minutes grabbed the set of Bunny Planet books and went into his room. Even as he sobbed dramatically, I began to read aloud. Slowly, he started to calm down, then we talked about 'the day that should have been.' Sometimes, a trip to the Bunny Planet is what everyone needs.

Wells expertly draws, in each little book, a picture of frustration and unhappines caused by external forces assailing the lovable little protaganist. This first part is written in third person; our little heroes are passive victims. Then, when the child is transported to the 'Bunny Planet', the voice changes to first person, and each little one finds the comfort needed within him- or herself. This is a book for everyone!

Ms. Wells has given my son 'Queen Janet' to help him cope with difficulties and gave him a vehicle for asking for help during hard (4 year old) times. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile and this trilolgy shows young children that you can use your imagination to help you through bad feelings.
