Overview

She’s everything he never wanted and everything he can’t live without…

New York Times bestselling author Diana Palmer delivers another unforgettable story in the Long, Tall Texans series.

Widowed Texas Ranger and single dad John Ruiz hardened his heart years ago. Day after day, he tracks the roughest criminals in the Lone Star State, which takes him away from his young son. So the last thing John needs is a beautiful woman interfering in his life and getting too close to his little boy. But when John meets her, he’s floored by how quickly the sparks fly…

Ever since her mother and brother were murdered, Sunny Wesley has devoted her life to helping others. Adorable Tonio Ruiz is just another kid who needs her—or so she tells herself—until she discovers he is John’s son. Such an arrogant and completely irresistible man! But when dangerous forces hit town and Sunny’s life comes under fire, John will risk anything to protect the new family he loves…even his own life.

I always LOVE Diana's book. Her heroes are strong in physical strength and gentle in but so passionate in love. Her heroines are strong and independant without being abrasive. The characters are people you would appreciate having for friends and neighbors. There is always a good suspense along with an emonitional romance. With an ADDITIONAL BONUS....no vulgar language !!!

Unbridled, written by Bestselling Author Diana Palmer, was a heartwarming story that will touch your heart. Sunny Wesley is now along in the world after the brutal slaying of her mother and baby brother. Now, the only family she knows is the relationship she forms with her patients. Until one day she comes to the rescue of a young boy. Either I am finally learning Diana Palmer’s writing style, or I am outgrowing her stories. Either way, I didn’t hate the story, nor did I love the story. The parts I liked about Unbridled was overshadowed by the same plots that I am noticing Diana Palmer has been using for the last several of her books. A strong alpha male with a nondescript female, whose has low self-esteem that boggles the imagination. I could have enjoyed Unbridled more if she would have tried to strengthen Sunny as a person. Where is Diana Palmer of the old? Where the heroine was meek but strong, able to handle the strong alpha type hero. Are those days gone? Are we just left with a shadow of the past?

Unbridled packs quite a punch. From dangerous realism that haunts to heartbreaking romance that heals, Diana Palmer crafts a courageous story of slow moving justice and long awaited romance. Sunny and John know heartache coupled with tragedy. For Sunny, it follows her every waking moment, reminding her not to trust and crushing her ability to hope. For John it drives a wedge between him and his teenage son and forces him to clean up the streets, even as he closes off his heart. When John's job starts to hit too close to home and endanger the people he loves, is when the lone wolf bears his teeth. Now he will stop at nothing to protect the son that he loves and the women he can't forget. Non-stop action is the backdrop for an emotional stunner that is as raw as it unforgettable. Classic Diana Palmer.
