This book is awesome and great for kids that like facts about lots of stuff! It shows them what happens in real life and has GREAT science information. Great for that quick read when waiting to go out with parents or waiting for a ride. I loved the book.

This book was a gift for my smart 2nd grader. It can be a little hard to get him to read, but the bright pictures, the interesting facts, everything combines to absorb this kid. In fact, I gave it to him for his birthday, and it was the one gift ALL the kids were gathered around! Later, it was the parents reading it!

My 9 year old daughter just loves this book. She gets the Kids National Geographic magazine and this is the first section she goes to when it comes in. To have them all in one book is great and lots of fun for her.

I gave this book to my 8-year-old niece for Christmas. She spent the next hour pouring over it with her 13-year-old cousin, despite the festivities that continued around them. They both loved it! The paper is of high quality, as are the printing, graphics and photos. I highly recommend this book.
