Although grateful for the distraction from “current politics”, I am exhausted. You see, I stayed up until 1:30 a.m. cuz I couldn’t stop reading and when I woke up, I finished at 1:00 p.m. today. John Sandford has yet to write a disappointing book and now I have to sit here waiting for the next. :-)

This novel could either be the culmination of the Lucas Davenport series the or a teaser for the next episode.

Great book, smart, clever, fun. Loved all the cameos pulling in threads from his other series and others in the Prey series. Great to see Lucas again... Great book.

All of his books grab you and hold on until the end! Love all of the twists and turns and especially the way the good guys win and bad guys lose.

It’s everything you love about the Davenport novels. Sandford has done a great job pretty much changing the entire surrounding cast except Weather and still giving you all the things you love about the books. It also gives you the satisfaction of seeing Lucas return to some of the old time justice he preferred early on. Great and fast read.

Typical Lucas Davenport book and a continuation from the previous Prey book. This book follows the case to conclusion. The story moves along very quickly and it is hard to put the book down.
