David will travel across diverse cities and kingdoms to protect the citizens, but ever near, ever threatening, is his nemesis. David enlists a band of benevolent friends to fight alongside him from Dimidiatus warriors to scholars, outlaws and multitude of armies.
Has the time come for this world to succumb to the Dark Lord? Can David and his armies face a battle of such grizzly and malevolent proportions that the very world is threatened by its magnitude? David will face the battle of his life and whether he lives or dies, he is determined to never surrender to the darkness.

In my lifetime I have read many books. However, I have almost always been extremely picky. Mainly because I find many novels either too slow or unoriginal. When I picked up this novel I had no idea what I was in for...I thought I would read a few pages, wonder what I had for breakfast, and put the book down. Although I found myself surprisingly enthralled with every turn of the page. When the time came to leave my home, which came often, I was constantly reviewing the intricate story in my mind. I found it funny, that throughout my day I kept reveling in the plot...wanting to know more. The night I finally finished the book I was uncommonly befuddled, which only related to the fact that I could not believe a novel like this was written by a very young man, still in college. The characters, setting, story, were so surreal and unique that the mere truth that a young man could write something like this seemed incredible. But the simple truth is Leonard Hernandez is the next epic writer of our time.
