It was the first book I read from this author and it was excellent.A look into a culture so different from us.

By bringing back to life African Culture and customs Chinua Achebe achieves his goal of showing us what african people had and were and what they lost for their own good. He re-creates Africa in order to get rid of it so that we understand what was lost.
