The World Needs More Love Letters is a stationary pad with forty pages of stationary that fold into envelopes. It also comes with wafer seals to close off the sides of the letter. It's a cute idea and I'm excited to use it to write some letters! It's sad how hardly anyone writes letters anymore, so this is a nice way to get people back into letter writing. It also has suggestions for what you could write if you're having trouble thinking of what to write yourself. I've always loved stationary, so of course I had to get this. My only complaint is that it said it came with forty "gorgeous" pages, so I thought the paper would be a bit prettier, but there are only five different designs and they are not what I would call "gorgeous", in dull shades of lime green, red, white and gray. But aside from that, a cute idea and neat little pad of stationary! I received this book of stationary for free from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

What a wonderful idea! I love receiving letters and enjoy sending letters. And it's not just me. Hubs' first comment when he saw what I was looking at was, "Will you write me a letter?" Of course I will! However, I often feel like I don't have a lot to say. Kind of funny for a blogger, yeah? This all-in-one stationery provides 40 writing prompts, which are creative and could be used for a variety of people in your life—friends, spouse, parents, children, random strangers! The designs are beautiful. The paper is high-quality (and I'm a paper snob!). And the concept is just perfect. Everything you need to write a letter is right at your fingertips . . . all you need is a stamp and a pen. So no more excuses! [5 stars] I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my fair and honest review.

This is more stationary pad than book, but it is utterly charming, and a wonderful inspiration to write someone a real, snail-mail letter. The top corners are clipped to to resemble the shape of the flap of an envelope. Each page tears out and one side is printed with delightful patterns and an open space to write in the address of your intended recipient while the other side is a lined page for writing your love note. Inside the front and back covers are writing prompts in case you aren’t sure what to write about. Once your letter is finished, fold it up, lick the envelope flap to seal it, and use the included clear stickers to hold the sides shut. Then address it, stamp it, and brighten up the day of someone you love. I work in a library, and while a consumable book wouldn’t be a good choice for circulating material, it would be cool as a resource for a program on the art of letter writing. The only criticism I really have is for the cover art. It uses one of the page patterns and I would describe the color as mustard with sideways dotted chevrons running up and down. It’s not a design nor a color that makes me think lovey thoughts, and one of the other pages, or the reverse red and white version would have been a better choice. However, this is a small thing compared to the coolness of the book, and I would definitely recommend it both personally and professionally. Now I’m off to dig out my glass fountain pen and write a few letters…

I never thought I'd buy a book with the intention of the tearing the pages out, let alone that I'd look forward to it. But that's exactly what Hannah Brencher asks you to do in this brilliant stationery set. With fold-and-mail pages in charming designs and writing prompts from the queen of love letters herself, it's never been easier or more fun to write a letter. I can't wait to tear through mine, literally. Snail mail has never been cooler than now.
