This book called the Weekly Prayer Project has a short scripture and coordinating thought in relation to it and then asks a question to reflect on and gives ample room to journal in the book itself. The book is divided up into different topics. The art work throughout is very pretty and it comes with a ribbon bookmark which I always appreciate. This book would make a really nice gift. I give it 4 stars. **This book was given to me by BookLookBloggers in exchange for an honest review.**

THE WEEKLY PRAYER PROJECT A Challenge to Journal, Pray, Reflect and Connect with God Published by Zondervan A question on the back of the book: Are you ready for a project that will actually change your life? This book will help you answer that question. You get a scripture reading, space to journal and a week to reflect on each reading. The book is setup into seven sections of different types of prayers found in the Bible. They are, requests, gratitude’s, laments, intercession, faith, repentance and awe. Each week you read from the Bible a scripture and then journal your response. A short description of the scripture is included and space for journaling your thoughts. You can reflect throughout the week and add to your journaled notes. You are not confined to one subject you can jump to other subject as you feel the need for help in a certain area.. The book can be a great addition to your daily readings and should add to and help with understanding God. Use it for your quiet time and as a tool to better hear God’s still, small voice and connect with Him. A great addition to your library and can be used year after year. I absolutely love this book!! It is like no other book on prayer and it has made my prayer life that much more alive. This is a hard-back book and I was a bit concerned about how easy it would be to write in it. However, it lies flat quite nicely and is very easy to read and write in. It's a beautiful book, as well. There are so many beautiful photographs and little paintings in the book to inspire you. It just added so much to the book for me. It is broken up into seven parts. They are: Requests, Gratitude, Lament, Intercession, Faith, Repentance, and Awe. It helps you to focus on these important aspects of prayer. I loved that the introduction tells you to make this book your own by starting at the beginning or jumping to a different part of the book if you'd like. The fact that this is broken up into 52 weeks is something I love. It allows you to really focus, for a full week, on the Scripture provided for that week and to make those prayer requests for that week something you fully concentrate on. There are also questions to ponder as you go through your week. This is a really small thing, but to me, just makes this book even more special. They provide a ribbon book mark for you to use. It's just something that makes this book more lovely. I really love this book and can't wait to make it a real part of my devotional time each week. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make their prayer life more fulfilling and their relationship with God deeper. *This book was provided to me for my honest review by BookLook Bloggers Program

If you’re looking for a book to help you take your prayer life to a new level, this book is the one for you! It’s simple, biblical and very pretty! Separated into 7 different biblical prayer topics: Requests, Gratitude, Lament, Intercession, Faith, Repentance and Awe, there’s a prayer topic for any prayer we could hope to pray. I love that it’s based around biblical prayers, and gives a little direction before giving you space to journal out your own prayers. With 52 entries, one for each week of the year, this book will greatly help grow your prayer life over the course of a year!

The Weekly Prayer Project A Challenge to Journal, Pray, Reflect and Connect with God The cover is pretty, it is a hard cover I love to pick books out by the cover a lot of times this was not one of them, all the cover had to have on it was Prayer and I knew I needed to get it review. This journal has 52 weeks the weeks are not dated so you can star in the middle of this year and finish next year or when every you want to star and in what week you’d like to start for example: Week 22 No Words or week 26 Praying Sacrificially many more beautiful pages to journal on. There are 143 pages to write your prayers, your thoughts then at anytime you can return to this journal and reflect on what you wrote and what prayer you might have written and see if your thoughts are the same or have you grown closer to God and now your thought and prayers maybe on a different level because of your relationship with God has changed. Each reading is a Bible verse, a full explanation on how you can relate to God. The water colored pictures of plants and other is beautiful and is at the start of each section. They are called Contents: Request, Gratitude, Lament, Intercession, Faith Repentance and Awe. Just the contents made me love this journal Ok the pictures too. I have to say Zondervan did a great job on this book I love it, you will too I can say it with confidence. I recommend it highly. I received this beautiful journal free from booklookbloggers for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest review. The opinions I’ve expressed are entirely my own and no one else’s. 5 Stars ISBN 978-0-310-08748-9

I have a beautiful book to share with you today! The Weekly Prayer Project is a book filled with fifty-two Scriptures to explore different types of prayers in the Bible, such as requests, laments, intercessions, and prayers of awe. It is well organized and easy to use. I appreciated the great Table of Contents with a clear outline of the prayers for each week and the Scripture and page reference. The book itself has a nice hardback cover, thick pages for writing, and beautiful images and graphics. There are journaling prompts and lines to write a response as you pray each week. I liked that the book was undated (just based on weeks) so it makes it easy to start the prayer challenge anytime throughout the year. If you are looking for a new way to spur on your prayer life, The Weekly Prayer Project might be just the right thing! The Weekly Prayer Project is an absolutely gorgeous book. This beautiful hardcover book is full of 144 nice, thick pages to journal, pray, reflect and connect with God. The Weekly Prayer Project is divided into seven sections with each representing a different type of prayer found in the Bible. There are sections called Requests, Gratitude, Lament, Intercession, Faith, Repentance, and Awe. While there are 52 weeks designated for journaling and prayer, the book is designed to work for you however you wish to use it. You may either start at the beginning or jump in and start where you feel God leading you to begin. You could start it in a new year or you could start it now as there is nothing dated. Each week's reading starts with a Bible verse, a short explanation and is followed by writing and prayer prompts. The pages are beautifully illustrated with small watercolor illustrations of plants and then each section is divided by a beautiful color photo. Also, each section starts with a full page of explanation on how to relate to God, learn and grow through your journaling. I think it is really a beautiful book. There is also a ribbon marker so you can easily find the section you are working in. If you like journaling your prayers and quiet times, then I would encourage you to look at The Weekly Prayer Project for your new quiet time journal. I received this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review in exchange for the book.
