I was more than pleased with this book. It has so many songs that I recognize, I can just flip through it and play new songs any time. It's a great tool for practicing because you can always practice a new song. I choose this book because I wanted songs I knew well since I'm a beginner at the piano.

I absolutely love the pop rock fake book as I do the other fake books I have bought. It is so nice not having to turn pages when I am playing. I love just reading the chords for the left hand which since there is no left hand note it compacts to music to just what you need. There is so many songs in this book that if I am needing a song I will most likely find it in this book. It is a large book consisting of many song. It is easy to handle. I would recommend this book to anyone that knows how to chord their left hand or at least read the chords they should play. I would buy this again and will be looking for other edition simular. bikwak

This is a good book. They have represented many decades and styles. Also, the multiple indexes are very useful (by artist, by song title, by year). Although some people complain about the small print, they have managed to fit over 600 songs into one book with no page turning. I figured that if I have particular charts that I want to see more clearly, I would just set the copy machine to 125% and blow them up onto a 11 x 14 sheet of paper. I have been out playing jazz for years using my "Real Books," so I am glad that Hal Leonard has published a whole series of fake books representing many styles.
