About the Author

Ed Jackson was born and raised in Kansas. He went to high school in California and graduated from the US Naval Academy in Maryland. He went into the air force from there and was stationed at Lowery AFB Colorado, Vandenberg AFB California, and Warren AFB Wyoming, where he ended his military career as an Atlas Launch Crew Commander. He was a test engineer on the F-1 rocket engine at Edwards AFB California and a propulsion system manager on the Saturn V moon rockets and the Space Shuttle launch vehicles, ending his engineering career at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. Ed studied handwriting analyses for many years, filling many positions on the board of directors of the American Association of Handwriting Analysts. He has three daughters, a stepdaughter, a stepson, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He lives with the memories with his wife near the peaceful little town of Grant, Alabama. Several bouts of cancer with long periods of recovery gave him time to write stories about young adults.
