Usually, I skim books. I read this book. I would give it as a gift to someone I loved.

Purchased for my twenty-something daughter for Christmas - she was thrilled. I will probably borrow it after she finishes.

I lived in the south for over 40 years. This book makes miss it so much.

As a converted Southerner from New York, I found the tongue-in-cheek humor of the book spot on. I loved the essay on sweet tea and falling of a horse particularly accurate. You don't read this book all at once but pick it up when you want to fill an extra fice minutes of your day.

Was disappointed in the quality. The huge sticker on the back tore off part of the book when trying to peel it off.

What's with the sticker on the back cover? The front cover of the book is beautifully designed, but the huge sticker on the back cover completely offsets it. After removing the hideous sticker, a tacky residue remains making it unpleasant to hold and read the book. Consequently, I am not holding and reading it and have just put it on the shelf. Disappointed.
