Phenomenal.  To the person who complained about there not being a nook version, a) you can request one from HarperCollins and b) it is a novella WRAP UP.  the novellas for sale separately under "The Prince" and "The Guard"

I love The Selection series and really enjoyed getting into the heads of these two awesome men. I had no idea what Maxon was really thinking and feeling throughout this process. I can't imagine being "forced" to choose a bride from a handful of women that he's never met before. What if he loves another? Does that even matter? The first novella, The Prince, is about Maxon's life just before the competition and during the first days. I loved getting his perspective. Maxon comes off as kind of cocky, but he's got reasons for protecting himself. The Guard shows us things from Aspen's view and it takes place more towards the middle of the series. I believe it's a #2.5 story. I really like and admire Aspen. He's so loyal and sweet. I love the way he interacted with the servants and how thoroughly he did his job. Content: a few mild expletives; some violence (being attacked by rebels, beatings, etc); mild romance.

If you loved The Selection series you would love this! Personally, I loved The Prince and would love it if Kiera Cass would rewrite the whole Selection series in Maxon's perspective. You learn a lot of things you didn't know about in The Selection and it makes you love the series even more!

The Prince and The Guard by Kiera Cass are two novellas told by the point of views of the leading men in The Selection Trilogy. If I'd read this after reading book one, I probably would have had more respect for Aspen sooner than I did, but it still wouldn't have changed my overall liking or disliking of either of these guys. Maxon was always my favorite, so I enjoyed getting a glimpse into his mind. I didn't know how vulnerable and naive he was early on. I love that you see the vulnerability in him later in the series, but until now, I had no idea it was there all along. I loved getting insights into the mind of these two guys. It was a little bit of a behind the scenes glimpse.

This book is a great little addition to the whole series. It's nice to see things from the two main male characters' points of view. I think it's best to read this book between The Elite and The One. The bonus information at the end of the book is also very interesting.

Audiobook Review With the release of THE ONE, the final book in THE SELECTION trilogy, mere months away, I was eager to jump back into the world of Prince's, Guards and pretty dresses! This audio book does not disappoint! The narrators bring their own distinct voices to the POVs and make the characters come alive. Now I just wish I had the rest of the books in the series on audio too, that way I could do a total reread before it all comes to an end.

No nook version???  Now I won't buy your book because it is not available in digital format.  Way to lose sales.
