This book includes the many mammals that are in the ocean. It is also a great book for younger children because it goes in alphabetical order. It would be a neat book to read when children are learning about ocean life. I rate this book 5/5 because of its colorful pictures and kid-friendly descriptions of the mammals.
I purchased this book for my son on a trip I took while in grad school. It became his favorite bedtime story since he loves anything to do with science and nature. We read it AT LEAST three times a night for several months. Even now he uses knowledge he gained from this book to explain ocean ecosystems, spell words when we play Scrabble, and as passwords for his computer. When I had a second son, it was the first book we bought for the baby.
