Dystopian future comic collection with star-crossed characters- quite good Stella is a Guardian whose law enforcement activities are also live entertainment for the masses. She meets Kirby, a white hat hacker, and, from that moment, both their lives are changed forever. There are a few other interesting characters and the story moves along at a healthy pace. The artwork is clear, quite detailed although a bit too colourful for my liking. Still a good story.

The New World is a fast-paced, sci-fi action romance. That seems like a lot to pack into a comic book series, but those genres work well together. I enjoyed the story's concept but I wasn't particularly fond of the artwork. On one hand, I loved how bright and colorful each page was, but on the other hand, I had a hard time enjoying the characters because their features were harsh and overdone. The New World is diverse and engaging. You'll want to explore this altered version of the USA and see what adventure Kirby and Stella take you on. *ARC provided in consideration for review*
