If you're interested in the Nazi period of history, you will enjoy this book. I wasn't sure when I first started the book but I was interested enough to keep going. Hurrah for my inner voice. I enjoyed the book very much....it is amazing what people will do in order to survive when all of society around you is going crazy. It is a book I would greatly enjoy discussing with others and it will live on, for me, as a story that haunts and intriques me.
