The Masterkey (Masterful, #1) based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
The Masterkey is the prequel to The Masterpiecers and it happens about a year before that book started. I’m always a little hesitant to read a prequel when the other books in the series are already released, but I’m so happy that I’ve read this novella. I got to read how Aster and Josh became a couple. The writing is fantastic. Some things happened and there were some revelations that I think are important for The Masterplan. I can’t wait for The Masterplan to be released! I’m loving this series. Aster and Josh are great characters. I loved Josh in the next books and I loved him now. He’s so sweet, reliable, caring, genuine, smart and loving. He’s studying to become a police agent and he can’t wait to be one. Josh is very close to the Redd sisters and he’s always there for them. He realizes that he wants more than being friends with Aster. It’s unexpected, but he loves her just like she is. Aster loves her twin sister and she’s very close to her. Their home situation isn’t the best, but they have each other. Aster is convinced that something is going on with their mum, but nobody believes her at first. She’s determined to prove everyone wrong. I was constantly wondering who is telling the truth and what could happen next. Aster is happy to have Josh as a friend and spends a lot of time with him. She’s over the moon that he has feelings for her, because she wants him.
