Awesome book that in the beginning has an excerpt explaining the meaning and ideals behind "steampunk." The excerpt and stories are great beginning pieces for those just introduced to steampunk. I myself hated the idea of steampunk, but after reading the introduction and the short stories in the book I have  new found appreciation for the subject that is becoming so popular. A Must read!

I am a novice in the world of Steampunk, and found this collection of short stories to be both enlightening and entertaining.
