A magical story of personal transformation through positive affirmations. Brought to you by bestselling, award winning author of "A-Z, the Universe in Me". This is the story of Magic, a little tree, who is always very happy, full of joy, and quite excited about life. He feels absolutely wonderful about himself and everything around him until one day he begins to realize that he is different from others; he questions why he isn't like his friends who seem to have the freedom to do what they want and go where they please. Magic goes through a challenging time where everything that is familiar is beginning to change- from the way he looks, to his surroundings. He feels he is losing his identity, and when his friends are not there anymore to keep him company, Magic also has to deal with loneliness, sadness, and confusion. The little tree tries his best to keep a positive mental attitude, despite all the challenges. His wise parents help him on this journey, they teach Magic valuable lessons on self-love, self-acceptance, gratitude, perseverance , and more. With the help of delightful positive affirmations, this story for all ages and all times is brought to life, instantly enabling a child to identify with the Magical Tree and effortlessly internalize the values so subtly woven into the short poems.

Reviewed by Darin Godby for Readers' Favorite Author Michal Y. Noah, Ph.D. does a wonderful job of entertaining and enriching the reader in The Magic Tree: A Timeless Story for You and Me. There is a note to parents and teachers to help express Dr. Noah’s reason for penning such fine words. The author declares that "By going within, we can gain the wisdom and strength we need to face everything in life.” This is a great example from The Magic Tree of how it was able to overcome obstacles and difficulties to enrich the lives of others as well as to experience hope and peace for itself. Even in moments when it seems as though things may be dark and without hope, there is the desire to dig deep within and hope for the best. The reader is invited to share in this faith and allow their belief to stretch along with the characters. There are many friendly characters involved within the story including Scamper the Squirrel to Sparkle the Butterfly, as well as Hoppy the Bunny and so many others that help to bring the story to life. The Magic Tree is illustrated by Chrissy Fanslau and she does an amazing job of bringing out such bright, beautiful and invigorating colors that allow the characters as well as the backgrounds to just come to life and pop from the page. The illustrations make the story line come alive and encourage the young reader to turn the page to see more vivid detail. This is a wonderfully written and illustrated book which should be in every school library and would be a great read for parents and children.
