About the Author

David Bedford was born in the West Country and now lives in East Anglia by the sea with his wife, Deborah, daughter, Isobel, and song, Tom. He has a PhD in Biology and worked as a biologist in England and the USA, studying antibiotics. He gave it up to write full time in 1997. He spends his spare time listening to music and doing tai chi.

Penny Ives lives with her son, Aaron, and cat, Tigger, in Bath, England. She studied in Bath and Brighton, and obtained in BA in Graphics. She works as a freelance illustrator, and for two years has been a writer as well. Her interests include walking, gardening, reading, and traveling.

This is a good book for children to read because it teaches you that if you help others, they will help you back in return and not leave your mother without telling her. Very cute book.
