i really enjoyed this book. i have since sought out the author's other book "The Steampunk Detective" and it is also a good read. he has a very readable style, the characters are well realised, there is some humour as well as lots of action and adventure. A step above the average end of the world tale.

If you like action and adventure, this book fits the bill. It's an apocalyptic tale with lots of suspense. Very readable. Reminiscent of Dean Koontz or The Last Man on Earth by Richard Matheson.
