If you enjoy reading adventure stories, you’re probably going to love this one. A fourteen-year-old boy named Michael Griswald nicknamed Digger is put in jail for the murder of a little boy. Michael has an abusive father at home and realized his mother, sister, and brother need his help. When it is Michaels day to take out the trash, he decides to hide in the dumpster and escape out of juvenile detention. Michael faces many tough challenges along his journey back home. He ends up stealing many things and committing many crimes that he later regrets. When he finds the campground he even faced more danger. He made many friends while he was at the campground. He even got a job working at a farm for a person that lives at the campground. Michael meets two Mexican people that plan something and Michael catches them red-handed. Michael started to develop feelings for somebody at the campground then he thinks that she betrayed him. Michael even starts to question if he should stay on the run, or turn himself back in to the juvenile detention center. If you like to read suspenseful stories, this book will be a go to. This story is suspenseful, it’s about survival, and trust. Michael couldn’t just walk out in the street like a normal person, he had to stay out in hiding, although he still went to the town. I hope this review makes you want to purchase this book in the future.
