This is a VERY funny series! If you haven't read it yet this is the time to start. The author comes up with the craziest schemes and just when you think you have it figured out..there is another surprise! The twists and turns come fast and hilariously. After I read the first one I couldn't WAIT to get the rest. Each book in this series brings more depth to the main character and more fun!

This author, Josie Brown, has a real knack for writing that'll tickle your fancy long after you should turn out the light for the night. Can't wait to get all the books in her "The Housewife Assassins Handbook" series.

Nice mix of intrigue, rich suburbia and sharp humor. Highly recommend for fun, light, interesting reading.

An absolutely hilarious and exciting pair of stories. There's a little something for everyone. A little sex, a little violence, a lot of humor, and even a bit of a love triangle...well, love/hate might be more accurate. On the positive side: They are quick and well-written. The characters are sharp, defined, and memorable. The narrator/title character balances mommy duties with work as an assassin. The other moms in their little community are directly from central casting. The intrigue is tight and there are very few "telegraphs" that spoil the big reveals. On the negative side: The biggest negative comes out of the positives - the supporting cast is rather cliche. They do not harm to story but they quickly become tedious. Final word: read and enjoy!

I got a wonderful deal on the first two books! They were a nice fluid and funny read! Really kept my attention and I felt for her as a woman with all of the heartache and crap she had to deal with!  Wonderfully written!!

The book is fun reading and actually has a plot. I would have preferred fewer details in the sex scenes. I'm more a romance person where the details are left to my imagination.

Enjoyed the heroine's snarky wit throughout the story. However, It's difficult for me to "accept" the heroine's character a loving mother involved in her children's activities during the day and at night a femme fatale and still find time to deal with two men in her life. A fun story nonetheless.
