If you like a witty, spiritual, funny, serious, educational and a chunk of life book, then this book is for you. You will enjoy the way the author takes you by the hand and you vicariously live his story! The photographs alone tell the story. You will feel equiped with all the knowledge you need to go into the music business. I guarantee that you won't want to put it down. Congratulations to the author, his lovely wife and children.
In Terry Wendt's, The Early Days, an innate honesty shines through the anecdotes of gigs and pickin' parties that were a part of Terry's life from the age of 17 when he was hired to play his steel guitar at one of the shows at Opryland, USA. From his first days playing in a band in Michigan to his gig as Shania Twain's first bandleader, road manager and steel guitar player, to his present day endeavors, Terry tells his story with an honest voice, exposing not only his triumphs but his tragedies and mistakes, and most certainly, the faith that saw him through it all.
