The Didache Bible is outstanding. The translation is superb, being a modernized variant of the King James Bible. Didache (pronounced Deye-dih-kuh) means "teaching" and that is what this Catholic Bible does. Each page has footnotes that explain the text. Furthermore, there are about 100 apologetics essays explaining various tenets of the Catholic religion. There are several very clear color maps at the back, which help to visualize where biblical events took place. Another bonus is the glossary at the back, which explains biblical terms and who various persons were. Note that the font size is acceptable, and the pages are readable. This is an outstanding Bible.
