THE DANIEL KEY 20 Choices That Make All the Difference By Anne Graham Lotz Everyone has heard the story of Daniel and his time he spent in the lion’s den and how God protected him, but do they think or know about Daniel and his faith or about him being highly esteemed by God. If he did not have the kind of faith that does not waver in times of looking at death, the story may have ended differently. Daniel’s faith was in God and nothing changed that. He made the choice to listen, forgive and pray when things look the darkest. Daniel learned that certain things can made a difference. In this book Anne Graham Lotz shares these differences and how they have helped her. Some of the differences are: worship, loyalty, praying God’s Word, attitude are just a few that are presented in a devotional form in this book. She starts with a Bible verse, then adds a story about how the differences helped Daniel or helped her. She gives a section titled Think About It that can help you with that devotion. A closing prayer is offered at the end of each devotion that may be a help for you if you are having a problem in that area. The in-depth look at Daniel’s life and his faith in God is very important to all who want to follow Christ. This is a small book and consists of twenty devotions that contain a lot of information that will be very helpful. It can be used as a study or a discussion book. I just wrapped up reading The Daniel Key: 20 Choices that Make All the Difference by Anne Graham Lotz. It was such a charming book. Her stories were relatable and perfectly tied in with her message. Her voice is so strong throughout the book that you can almost hear her telling the stories. The set up of the book makes it really easy to read. There's a Bible verse at the beginning, a short message, follow up questions and a prayer at the end of each of the 20 sections. This book would be a great Bible study as there are so many things to discuss. Each message makes you think and reevaluate choices your are making in your own life. The Daniel Key would be a fun book to work through with a friend, spouse or small group. I'd highly recommend it.
