The cat who lives at the cookie store has the best life. He has an owner who loves him, friends, and fresh cream daily. The story and pictures are vibrant. Rylant even includes recipes at the end of the book.
What the life this little cat has. He gets to be around sweets and nice people all day where he lives which is at the Cookie- Shop. Everyone in town loves the Cookie-Shop Cat. The owner of the Cookie-Shop found him one morning while going into work. So, took the cat into his shop and gave it a place to live and food. The owner even has Christmas dinner with the cat. Such a cute story to read to young children when talking about pets and their love for them.
This book is a must for all cat lovers! It's an excellent story that teaches compassion towards animals and mankind. A heartwarming story that kids want to read over and over again -- especially since it's set in a cookie store!!!
