This series is the best series out there! i haven't read anything like this before! Once you pick up the book you won't stop reading until you finish the whole series. The books are filled with plot twist and big turns and big cliffhangers! The book is so well written. I have never written a review for any other book, but this book is so good i had to write one to convoke so many more on what they're missing out. Once you start reading the series you fall in love the characters and the whole storyline. I have to say this is the best series ever !

Wow ! This series was and is amazing ! I loved every book in it . As soon as I picked up Book 1 ( Hush, Hush ) , I immediately knew that it was going to be a good read . Ever since then , I have collected almost all the books except for the first one which I am missing from my collection . I recommend this series to people who love paranormal romance with a bit of a quirk to it . I will say though that Nora started to get on my last nerves in Book 2 and Book 3 but after that it was smooth sailing . Make sure that you pick up this set ! You won't regret it ( well, I guess it all depends on what you like though so before you buy this make sure you read other reviews ).

The first series I purchased on my nook. A great read that is intense and wildly romantic. It'll make every girl want a Patch Cipriano of their own. The chemistry between the characters is fantastic and there is plenty of wit and humor to balance out the romance. Becca Fitzpatrick is not one to miss. Highly recommend any of her books!

I'd say a 2.5 honestly. I have really mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, it kept me interested long enough to finish. On the other hand, it was full of plot holes. The first book was by far the best. I love stories about characters who hate each other, who end up falling in love. The second book was okay, but not great. The third book is when everything started going down hill. That whole book was a recap of events, as the main character was suffering from amnesia, and slowly re-learning everything that us readers already knew. So, I found it a bit boring. For me, everything fell apart in the 4th book. Nothing made sense. Nothing at all. And I began to hate the main character. Yes, she was burdened with a great responsibility, but she pretty much says, "who cares if all of these people I'm in charge of dies... I'm not going to do anything about it because I'm in love." And then after a fight with the guy she loves, she decides that she does want to go to war. She says it wasn't decided on a "whim", but the writing begs to differ. A few problems that I had with the story line: 1) Nora's father was the lead of this army. He devoted his whole life to it. He was apparently a great leader, someone who honestly wanted his own race to survive. Nora was his daughter by blood, but he had proven on numerous occasions that he didn't really care about her survival. So if he didn't care about Nora, why in the world would he make her swear to lead his army? It makes absolutely no sense in my mind. He wanted to punish her? Okay, but by letting her take over all of his work, when she could care less about their race? How does that make any sense? 2) All of a sudden in the 4th book, we learn that Nora's best friend is also not human. In fact, she's Nephilim, just like Nora. But Nora's never been able to sense it because it was always just her friend to her. What about Patch? Patch would have sensed it. He would have let Nora in on the secret. He would not have trusted Nora with Vee at first. But nope, he obviously didn't know either... even though they're able to sense one another. 3) I believe in character development, and character change, but these characters were clearly all bipolar. They changed so drastically in so many ways. I'm not just talking about changing their favorite color... I'm talking about, "I'm going to kill you. I'm a homicidal person," straight over to "you're my best friend and I'm going to protect you." The fourth book just had me going, "what?" in so many ways. The 4th book itself would get 1 star. The 3rd would get 2, and the first 2 would get 3. So, this book is alright if you love paranormal romance teen books... but don't expect to be wowed if you're the type of reader who looks beyond the "I'm so in love with this non-human that I'll do anything" part. 1
