A frustrated hen enlists the help of her barnyard friends to discover who is stealing her eggs. In turn, several of the animals try to stay awake all night to catch the thief but find they are all too good at sleeping to stay awake. In desperation, they turn to an owl for assistance. Written as a read-aloud story for children 4-8 or for early readers ready for something beyond 4 word sentences.
