Amazing Machines: Terrific Trains by Tony Mitton
Big Trains, small trains, old trains, and new, rattling and whistling Choo, choo, choo! Preschoolers will chuckle as a wacky animal crew toots the whistle and treats them to the delights only a train journey can offer. Clickety-clack, whizz down the track, slow to a railroad crossing, rumble through a tunnel, and finally pull into the station where passengers await the fastest holiday flyer of them all!

4 year old Peter Max the Engineer checked this book out of the library, insisted that it be read to him every day, several times a day. When the day came for the book to go back to the library, we set it on the table, ready to go return it and check out another. But it mysteriously disappeared. It seems Peter Max had objected to returning the beloved book, for we found it tucked safely under his pillow, guarded by his favorite stuffed doggy.
