Ive been a reader of this magazine for many years, so I was quite happy to find it among the downloadable magazines for my new Nook Color. Since I havent picked up a new copy in the store in quite awhile, I was quite surprised and disappointed with the new format. The usual pages and pages of pictures and recipes have now been replaced by articles and lots of advertising, with scattered recipes here and there. While this may appeal to some, it's just not what Im looking for in a cooking magazine.

Taste of Home is one of my favorite magazines. I was so happy to see it available as a nookbook! Now I can get my favorite magazine and not feel like I'm building up a paper collection. The pictures look just as stunning as ever, and it's great to be able to "bookmark" pages that I want to go back to. (I made a recipe from it last night and got raves!!)

I was a subscriber of the paper version for years. I loved it's straight-forward approach, i.e. no advertising, lots of recipes with pictures, and everyday pantry items. Under new management, all this was lost. Now I find articles of drivel, and a few recipes thrown in so it can be called a cooking magazine. I subscribed to the e-version to see if any improvements had been made since I canceled my subscription a couple of years ago. I am sad to say, it has gotten worse. It is reported to be the most read cooking magazine in the world, but I have serious doubts if it will remain so, unless some major changes are made.

I thought this magazine was better a few years ago. It seemed homier and not so commercial. I was also dissappointed that nutritional information was not included with each recipe. This information is very important if someone is following a special diet or just wants to adapt a healthy lifestyle.

This used to be a great magazine. However, something has changed, and it isn't for the good! We used to be subscribers many years ago. I do not ever remember Reader's Digest being the owners of this publication, so maybe that is what changed some time in the last decade (last time I was a subscriber was perhaps in 2002). The magazine still has wonderful photos. However, it is also now LOADED with advertising. It used to be just the recipes, some articles and no ads. It is now so glutted with ads that it was not even pleasant to read. In addition, I found the zoom was extremely limited. I could not zoom in on a particular recipe enough for me to read it. What good does that do?! I cancelled my subscription, and can only suggest that others be sure to try one issue first and see if they like the very-different Taste of Home. Shame on them for all the ads - if you want to do so many ads, then make it dirt cheap. Otherwise, you're just as well off looking up recipes on FREE websites.

I used to love this magazine. I was a subscriber for a few years and then didn't renew it. I decided to check out the emagazine and noticed it had way too many ads iin it now. So if I need a recipe I will just look it up at the taste of home website.

This magazine has some good recipes, however they highlight other recipes each month and direct you to their website to get the recipe. When trying to log in i did not have the info requested. Upon emailing their customer service i was told that esubscribers do not have access to online recipes. I think if i pay for something i should be able to fully use it. I swear it seemed like the most delicious ones were only available online! Cooking light is a way better magazine for nook anyway

I do not really think it is worth buying for me at least. I loved taste of home for many years when it was all recipes. It is mostly articles and ads and few recipes.

I was looking for a cooking magazine that would work with my pcos. This one has tons of recipes and in the back shows you which ones are good for your heart, low carb, etc. This is great for me.

I’m a long time subscriber to Taste of Home. Lately I have found the recipes have become so trendy as to be bizarre. Perhaps the editors are trying to appeal to a much younger demographic but long time readers are being disappointed with each issue.

This magazine is no longer simple family inspired cooking. Too many ingredients and I wouldn't considerate it to be the meat and potatoes comfort food it used to be. Recipes are getting complicated along with the cuisine. And yes, too many ads!

Finally! A cooking magazine that doesn't tell you how to boil water or sou vide a duck breast. Real, delicious food from real people I actually want to try.

I've had a nook subscription for several years that includes the bimonthly magazine ans the holiday issues. I haven't received the holiday issues in two years and the regular issues are on the newsstand long before I get my electronic version. Aug/Sept 2019 is currently out. I have yet to receive the issue. My March issue was about 6 weeks late.

The magazine is good always has been but I went through ALOT of STUFF to uninroll for the ma%s I have o` a auto renewal and they still took the money out of my account and did not cancel the mags I can't not find a way to get this done I did do it in time but to no avale
