R.L Stine has a horror book in his Fearstreet collection called Switch. Switch was an exciting book and always kept you wondering what will happen next. There where many parts in the book where you thought you knew what would happen but something totally different happens. The book takes place in Shadyside and in the woods off of Fearstreet, in present time. Lucy asks Nicole if she would trade bodies. Nicole didn¿t think it would work so she said yes. Amazingly the switch worked. When Nicole gets to Lucy¿s house in Lucy¿s body, she finds her parents murdered and dead on the floor. So now Nicole is stuck in the only suspect¿s body. When Nicole finds Lucy¿s parent dead, she doesn¿t know what to do. She ends up going to Lucy¿s boyfriend¿s house. Kent, Lucy¿s boyfriend, tells her to stay where she is and he will get her something to drink. Kent goes to get her a drink but he also gets the police. Nicole ran from the police. When she escaped she decided she needed to find Lucy. Wherever Nicole went it seemed like she just missed Nicole. The last place Nicole could think to look was Lucy¿s grandmother¿s house out on a farm. Nicole finds Lucy behind some hay and Lucy distracts Nicole long enough for the police to come and get Nicole. Switch is told in the first person point of view by Nicole. R.L. Stine doesn¿t use many difficult words, so the book is pretty easy to follow. Anyone who likes a good horror book or maybe even mystery books should definitely read this book. If you do read this book and like it, then I would also recommend that you try some other Fearstreet books.

Switched By: R.L Stine Nicole is a girl with a normal life, she has parents who watch her every move and friends who are nice to her, but don¿t really like her. Nicole thought Lucy¿s life was perfect and amazing she had great grades, an awesome boyfriend and parents who don¿t bug her. When Lucy asks her if she wants to switch bodies she accepts. Only problem is when she finds out things aren¿t so perfect with Lucy things go bad! Nicole and Lucy switch bodies and Nicole finds out that Lucy framed her she killed her parents and left Nicole in her body to take the blame while she was in Nicole¿s body running away. The story takes place in a small town with a little coffee joint, a pizza place and some other little stores along with schools however the author never gave the place of the story. I think the author wrote this story to entertain kids and to scare them. Overall I think this book is great. When I started to read the book I couldn¿t put it down, I got absorbed in the story. The events of the story drew my in and grabbed my attention.

This book is such "mind booming mystery". The author R.L. Stine must be proud of this book "switched" it really inspires you to read more. The book is like a mystery very confunsing, but more and more exciting on every sentence. Nicole, the mani character, says "i hate my life". That brought my attention because because there are times when people say that about theirs when their in bad times. I recommend this book because its very suspenseful at every twist and turn.

I started reading at about midnight and expected to read just one chapter and finish it tomorrow, but i ended up reading the whole thing... it was so supensful and thrilling. I finished at one in the morning and could not go to sleep because i kept thinking about it and wondering, "what if that ever happened to me?" Overall it is a great read. If you're looking for a book that is quick to read but makes you need to finish it... this book is perfect for you. The age group can vary from preteen to adult... it is a little scary so i wouldn't recommend reading it to a young child... thats all i have to say out this book... READ IT!!!!!!

I gave this one five stars because it really creeped me out in the end. I thought that I had it all figured out, but when I read the end, I was really wrong. After reading this story, I couldn't stop thinking about it, so if you like the Fear Street books, than I suggest reading this one, because I think this one was the scariest!!!

Possible Spoiler Alert:To start off with, I didn't like the main character- she was annoying and empty. It became obvious as soon as people knew who she really was that she was only imagining switching with her friend. Knowing that she was imagining things does make the second part of the book easier to read- otherwise I'd have been very confused when she goes totally haywire at the end.

VERY interesting, confusing/strange but good book! Nicole is depressed and frustrated with her life, so when her friend Lucy suggests they switch bodies, Nicole is all for it. She doesn't really expect it to work, but it does... And that's when she finds out that Lucy is going to use the body-switch for evil!

Amazing! One of the best book by R.L Stine that I have ever read. The best thing about the book is that it keeps you wanting to read, and has the perfect combination of horror and supense, but my favorite part was the ending. You would've never of guessed that ending, and when you get to it, you are in for a big surprise.
