The team behind DC Comics LIL' GOTHAM takes readers to the halls of Ducard Academy in Gotham City, where a young Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman start their very own Junior Detective Agency!

Young Bruce Wayne is the new kid at Ducard Academy, a prep school for gifted middle school students. Bruce finds out pretty quickly that he doesn't fit in: the faculty seems to not just encourage villainous behavior from its students, but reward it. He makes friends with two other outsiders, farm boy Clark Kent and the regal Diana Prince. The three band together to form a detective squad to find out why all of these extraordinary kids have been brought together at Ducard Academy, and to see just what the faculty is plotting.

An all-new series from the Eisner-nominated team behind Batman Lil' Gotham (Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs), Secret Hero Society uses comics, journal entries, and doodles to reimagine Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman as three students in the same school. They'll try their best to solve their case, but just because you're faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, or an Amazonian princess, it doesn't mean you get to stay up past eleven.

This is a great middle grade story for fans of DC Comics. This story takes place before the DC Comics characters became super heroes. They give hints to the superheroes that we know they will become. Bruce Wayne loves bats and working in dark spaces. Clark Kent is super secretive about where he comes from and says he knows nothing about Krypton. And there’s also the class clown Joe Kerr who is always pulling pranks in the halls. The illustrations in this graphic novel were done in grey and white. Some of them looked like pencil sketches. There were some documents in the story, such as Bruce’s electronic journal and flyers from school. These told more of the story in an abstract way so that we can see what is happening around the students without them stating it. I liked this graphic novel. It was a quick read, and funny too!

Book Project By: Fapuiaki Havea (Pui) 2-20-18 So my book is called The Study Hall Of Justice and the first time I saw it I was like oh the kids that are heroes are younger and not just that they were in school with those one kids you know the villans and yeah but I thought they were having fun until I read it Bruce,Diana, and Clark all became a team to find out what is wrong with the school and why some teachers are acting weird.3 kids that are finding out what is wrong with the school is very very interesting because they are only in like 4th or 5th grade. But then bruce finds something very very odd about a girl who is in sports and hates diana.Bruce and clark and diana would go to bruce’s house to make a plan and sometimes his butler would cook for all four of them. So I thought it was supposed to be about kids not superheroes and no it wasn't what i expected it to be and i don't feel the same way as the book but i do know what changed it was the second book it's called fort solitude and it is so good.Bruce, diana and clark all find something out when they go to school and that's when bruce is new but he entered the bully hall and a big bully name bane was saying mean things to him but then bruce said do you want my money and all of them said no when they through a pie at him then they laughed and left.My author of my book is Derek Fridolfs and the other one is Dustin Nguyen. The reason why I like this book is because they work as a team and they should have a group name like dskg that means don't stop keep going and they never did stop until the end and then they got back together again. I liked the book why well there was a good team work together and they tried to find out what was wrong and yeah and I give this rate a 5/5 because it has a team in it and they are kids of superheroes and they have a great personality except bruce he is always grumpy. Summary My book is very very good because it has a team and they find something out together and they work together and they never stop at all they just kept going on and on they wouldn't let anything get in there way which is a good thing because they wouldn't get to find out who was making the school worse and then they find out but yeah I really really liked the book it was a good team they should be the dskg team and that means don't stop keep going and that is a very very good thing so yeah.

This was really good. Word of warning though, this whole book is in black/white/grey, the illustrations are not in color. Besides that, the story was genius and a really fun read.
