The Stepsister is a great book filled with suspense. It's about a teen girl named Emily who's father died on a camping trip and her mother remarried... meaning that the stepfather and his children have to move in. Emily's stepsister seems sweet, nice, and friendly around adults but once she has her alone, it seems like she's trying to ruin Emily's life. I won't give all the details but I will tell you: things aren't always as they seem... Anyways I recommend this book to kids and teens--ages 11 and up who are looking for suspense and surprise.

The book the ¿Stepsister¿ is a thrilling, twisting story that has you hanging on the edge of your seat at all time. Emily and her sister after losing their father, have a new step father. They were quite surprised to know they would have a new sister, Jessie. Strange and dangerous accidents start happening, since the day Jessie moved in. Little does everyone know that Jessie has a secret. This book is very suspenseful. And I would recommend this book to anyone that loves mystery. I would rate this book four stars for the thrill it brings me.Emily and her sister have had a hard life growing up. Their father died, and life has been hard on them. Not soon after their mother remarries leaving them with a new dad and sister. The day after Jessie moved in, dangerous accidents start happening. Emily thinks its Jessie all the way without a doubt. Accident after accident Emily blames Jessie for everything. Emily will soon regret everything she csaid when she gets her hands on Jessie¿s diary.¿Jessie killed Tiger mom!¿ Emily yelled. Jessie is getting angry with all of the blaming and throws a huge temper tantrum. Emily just wants Jessie out of her house, room, and life. ¿Ever since Jessie has been here, bad things have been happening!¿ I said shrilly. The book achieves its goals in wanting to not only shock the reader, but to have them hanging. Not only that, but they never see the twist coming. The purpose is met, because the book is made for entertaining. In my opinion this book is fantastic, and you won¿t be able to put the book down. The main points in the book for me, is it has to be addicting to read. This book sent chills down my spine, and shocked me. This book will probably make you want to start reading some of R.L. Stine¿s other books. You never see the twist coming, because he puts the twists in different parts of his books. They are not all in the same place which makes the book amusing. The ¿Stepsister¿ is the genre of books I like to read, it just makes it fun for me. Twists and turns in my opinion is what make reading fun. The setting in the story is what makes the book like a TV in your head. There will be ups and downs, but it will always keep me interested to see what is going to happen next. In other words the book is an amazing journey to read and picture in your imagination. I am very picky with books, and I honestly say this book keeps me interested, and wanted to know more. This makes me think of how some people think violence, and hurting other people. The plot makes you think more, and will not want to stop reading.

Emily's mother just got remarried and, now her new husband and his childern are moving into her house. Emily is excited for the new arrivements. Emily thinks that alomost everything will go well because her and the other kids have always got along and they did'nt fight. When they all get moved in and are comfortable bad things start to happen. Everything that happens, Emily blames on her new sister. Emily goes to her real sister for comfort, well til she finds out the truth. This book is extremely interseting and it has so many differnet things happening in it. One minute everyone is getting along then the next they are at each others throats. What Emilt thought would be a happy family has totally ruined her life, but the things that she has been blaming her new sister for she should have been holding over someone else head. Emily felt so bad for blaming her stepsister for everything that had happened. I would recommend this book to almost anyone that likes drama. It has so many ups and downs that you have no clue what will happen next!

One of my very favorite R.L. Stine books! Emily's new stepsister, Jessie, is horrible. Not just horrible, evil. She does very mean, calculating things to Emily, and no one believes that Jessie is at fault! But Emily knows it's Jessie, because it can't be anyone else... Right?

The cover image on this one has always disturbed me. Throughout the entire book Emily suspects her new stepsister. We can therefor be certain that her stepsister is not guilty. The thing about this that really wasn't very believable was that Nancy waited years until her stepsister showed up to get back at Emily.

i,ve read this book 2years before but i still remember the story. It was one of the best of r l stine . Emily was quite nervous about her new family and it turn out be terrible situation for her. As someone tempered with her possessions and tried to kill her and she thought that it was Jessie who was destroying her life but in the end she found out the truth. The terrible truth about her own sister. The story was brilliant and i suggested it to my friend.
