First omnibus introduces us to mission after which Wedge took command of Rogue Squadron, takes us to isolated planet where locals are fooled into thinking that Alliance and Empire are working in cooperation and finally to Mrlssti where Empire and Alliance are trying to get their hands on (and by doing that prevent the other side from acquiring) stealth device that can make any space vessel invisible to any detection.Great collection. If you are Rogue Squadron fan ¿ or just general Star Wars fan :) ¿ you¿ll enjoy it.Recommended.

If you have not read the X-Wing novels by Stackpole in Allston that's ok (but really, get on that). This series does one of the best jobs of showing the Star Wars universe through the normal peoples eyes. None of this Jedi vs. Sith crap, it is all about pilots and soldiers fighting the good fight and doing the missions while diplomats and politicians fuss around and Jedi's contemplate Sith machinations. Really this is the working man's Star Wars universe as almost all the stories follow regular folk fighting the Empire and even though Wedge Antilles is such a background character in the movies you really see him as almost more super human than Luke or Vader because he does it all with skill, luck and a blaster. Oh and also one of the only X-Wings that can boast two Death Stars on his kill list.
