Bedtime often seems to come too early, but what would happen if you never went to sleep? When scientists decided to find out, they discovered that your brain needs a rest after a long day of thinking, just as your muscles would need a rest after a long day of work.
A different kind of bedtime story, this book is the perfect response to the question 'Can't I stay up a little longer?'

This book makes me tired. It's a very basic book about sleep, that mentions an experiment in which scientists tried to stay up and failed after getting worse and worse. It talks about why sleep is important and mentions that people need different amounts of sleep at different ages. I want to go to bed.

Easy and fun way to show how important sleep is for animals and humans alike. From tiny babies to adults everyone needs sleep. Would be really good to share with young kids to show them how important sleep is.

This is a great book to show children how important it is to get enough sleep. Not all households have a lot of structure and it is important that we teach them that having a bed time and getting enough sleep is very important. Their brain needs to rest so it can be ready for the next day of school. It also shows children that everyone needs sleep and it even explains to them how much sleep a person should get. This is a wonderful book for young children Pre-K - 2nd.
