The new novel in the beloved New York Times bestselling Curtis Black series.

"Roby's latest sizzles with scandal. A deliciously decadent beach read of temptation and the wages of sin." - Kirkus Reviews

"Satisfying and sinful...well-written, fast-paced." - RT Book Reviews

After her very public divorce from Dillon, Raven Black is recovering nicely. Dillon has done everything he can to discredit her, but Raven has learned from her mistakes and him. In fact, she's intent on using every bit of Dillon's revenge and betrayal, as she prepares to take what is hers - and more. Her ambitions have never been so great, and Raven always knows how to get what she wants. She also won't allow anything or anyone to get in her way.

She has become her ex-husband in more ways than one and is slowly leading those connected to her down a terrible path of destruction. But playing with the lives of innocent people has dire consequences - the kind that Raven won't see coming. Raven, of all people, should know that what happens in the dark will eventually come to light...and that there's only so far you can run before your past catches up to you.

In Sin of a Woman, Raven Jones Black the senior pastor and co-founder of NVCC (New Vision Christian Center), continues to be the power-hungry, greedy and ambitious woman who continues to cause problems for anyone she comes in contact with. And in this installment, that person, in particular, is her associate minister Porsha Harrington. When Porsha decides she wants to add a segment to the Sunday service, Raven decides that not only does she not like it but Porsha has to go, and that is when the trouble starts. Also, when a man from Raven’s past shows up to collect a debt she owes him, it throws her into panic mode and has to decide what will she do to solve both problems. I enjoyed this drama filled story that has the twists and turns we have come to know from Ms. Roby and has her fans waiting in anticipation for her next book. Ms. Roby writes books that are realistic, and I find myself thinking about the characters long after I finish the book. This is another excellent installment, and I look forward to the next one. I highly recommend you read this book and all the other Curtis Black stories. A pleasurable read with a message!

Sin is sin.  No sin is greater or less than any other one.  How should you proceed when a person feel like they can sin but throw your sins back in your face?  Do you continue to deal with them or do you separate yourself from the situation? Raven Black is now divorced from Dillon Black, son of the infamous Curtis Black and she has started her own church.  She was doing good with Dillon but she is doing much better on her own.  The thing that Raven would like to achieve is a greater success than Dillon ever had but what will it take to achieve those goals?  Who or what would try to get in her way to stop Raven from being the success that she sees in her future or will she obtain it by any means necessary?  Does Raven have what it takes or does she even know what it takes to be considered a success? Sin Of A Woman is part of the Curtis Black series but he only plays a very small part in this novel.  This book is about the women that came in contact with him and/or the Black family and how life is for them.  We have characters if you are caught up with the series you will recognize so you will understand.  Roby has written a story that will keep us in the loop with the Black family without missing a beat.  Once again, I applaud Roby for writing a story that is relatable to her fans and in general an all around great story to participate in.

Sin of a woman was very predictable, I felt that I was rereading all of the Curtis Black novels again. This book was a disappointment and had doubting whether I would be reading others to come.
