Wonderful Book Silence is the third book in a series of four.  In this book, Patch and Nora are torn even further apart by the Black Hand.  In the previous book, Crescendo, Patch and Nora were just beginning to put their lives back together again, when the Black Hand steps in and kidnaps Nora.  In Silence, Nora has her memory of the previous five months erased.  She doesn't even remember going to school!  Her mind also has no memory of Patch.  But some part of her still remembers.  She can't remember his face, but she remembers his eyes.  She remembers the way he made her feel every time she thinks of the color black. Also, Marcie is beginning to confront Nora more and more, along with Scott coming back into town and trying to help her remember.  Nora is having a hard time believing it all, and throughout the whole book is her struggle to cope with Patch's decisions and the lingering memory of the boy she loved.  This book is an amazing read, and I can't wait to get my hands on Finale!

Once again, I am loving this series all over again! I love how despite all the struggles in these books, love conquers all. I have always believed this is true myself. If love is real and true between two people, they will be able to overcome any obstacle standing in their way. This seems to be the case with Nora and Patch.  They have been through a nightmare in the last book, trying to live their lives apart. Fighting their feelings for the good of each other has gotten them no where..... except into MORE trouble. When they finally gave in to their feelings and it looked like things were looking up.... BAM! The Black Hand was waiting to pull them apart again. Now, Nora has been kidnapped and the only way Patch can protect her is to swear and oath betray his fellow fallen angels and give him information against them. The only way to get her back is to let them rip out his wings. He does it willingly for her. All he cares about is getting her back home as soon and safely as possible.  When Nora returns, she finds herself in a graveyard with no memory of how she got there. Actually, she has lost 5 months of her life. She can't remember school ending, going to summer school, of the crazy events from the summer. Lost to her seemingly forever are the details leading up to and throughout her kidnapping. Worst of all, she has no memory of Patch. Their love for each other has been erased from her mind as if it never happened. But her heart still remembers. She can't remember his face, but she remembers his eye. She remembers the way he makes her feel every time she things of the color black. Will that be enough to bring them back together? Nora is really struggling with loosing her memory. It seems as if everyone is hiding things from her. Even her best friend Vee isn't telling her the whole truth about what happened over the summer and she knows it. How can she regain her memory if no one will fill in the blanks for her. On top of that, her mom has started dating Hank Miller, the father of the only person that she has ever really hates, Marcie. Now all of a sudden, Marcie wants to join forces and split their parents up. Turns out Nora has something Marcie wants, Patch's archangel necklace, or at least Marcie THINKS she does. How far will she go to get it? When Scott shows up back in town, he helps Nora to put some of the pieces back together, but everything he says seems so far fetched. Can she really trust him to tell her the truth? She isn't sure, but she has a feeling that she can believe his stories. She feels like she already knew their truth from before. With everything fighting against her and regaining her memory, can Nora find justice for her kidnapping? Can she somehow piece her memory back together? Is there someway to make her feel safe again or will she always have to look over her shoulder? Most of all, will she find her way back to Patch, or is his love lost to her forever? Well, you better get to reading if you want those answers, cause I'm not tellin!
