I have chosen this book to read aloud to my third grade class two years in a row, and it captivates their attention every time. It covers telling the truth which is a subject that most children this age are struggling with and can relate to. The author combines humor with a moral lesson that makes it hard to put down. The kids always wanted to hear another chapter, and some even went out and bought themselves a copy to follow along in class.
