I don't think my words can do her voice ot this band's music justice, but I'll try. This band combines the the Velvet Underground and Galaxy 500 with echoey and seductively lilting lyrics. They smoothly move from tranquil waves of sound to potently roaring music. Close your eyes and let Hope Sandoval take you away. Incidentally, this album sets the mood for any intimate moments you may find yourself a part of.
