After reading this author's Lamber series, I just had to read this book, her latest title. And I'm glad I did. It kept me guessing from start to finish. I couldn't put it down. And the two lead characters drew me into their lives with ease. If they were real people, I would want them for my closest friends. A great book! And did you know that this talented author is coming out with a cookbook soon? Her brother is a popular chef and they collaborated on the book. For all you cooks out there, DO buy that book too.

I fell in love with this writer after reading her Lambert series. Ms. Murray is an exciting writer. I love that quality in my favorite authors. I was thrilled when I discovered she had a new book out. The Shadow of Her Smile, another romantic-murder-mystery. My favorite kind of fiction. In The Shadow of Her Smile, Private Eye, Corbin Douglas becomes entangled in a murder mystery that began in France and wound up in New York City. I truly enjoyed this fun caper and think most readers will agree this is one book you won't want to miss! I look forward to reading many more books by this exciting writer. I'm A Fan!

Victoria Taylor Murray starts a new book after her popular Lambert series wound up to a climactic finish last year. This new story has a really clever storyline which shows she hasn't lost her flare for spinning a good gripping yarn in the romantic crime-thriller genre. It's about a killer who targets only sexy redheads and about the private investigator who is soon on his trail. It's this kind of suspense scenario that keeps one turning the pages by lamplight during a storm. Well-done!! Well-edited by her new publisher. Love the stylish and provocative cover too!
