With Play-a-Sound: Sesame Street, Ding Dong! Elmo's Here!, little readers can enjoy a Sesame Street adventure as they ring the doorbell again and again. Elmo and Abby have plans to gather up old stuff that people no longer want and give it to the Twiddlebugs to make into something new.

They go ringing the bells of famous characters from the classic TV show Sesame Street, including:
• The Count, who gives them some bouncy balls (and provides counting opportunities for toddlers)
• The Cookie Monster, who gives them a rubber band
• Bert, who gives them a propeller from a propeller hat
• Ernie, who gives them some dominoes

Awk! Liam loves this way to much for a book that doesn't have the author and illustrator's name on the cover Alas, it has Elmo, Abby and Twiddle bugs on it - his first introduction to these characters. He loved the sounds, from when he was so little he had to roll over it to push the doorbell button, to now when he can push all the buttons by himself.

I ordered this from Barnes and Noble. I just received it and it does not sound at all. Wouldn't you think B&N should check that before they send it out? They have agreed to send me a new one but I have to return the broken one which a hassle for me when the problem clearly was their fault.

Good interactivity if you keep in mind that this is for babies 6 months and older but not older than 15 months. That's my personal feeling as my 15-month old toddler has lost all interest in the book when it comes to pressing the buttons and listening to the sounds. But hey, even babies get tired of listing to the same sounds over and over again.
