Overview

Robin Hood is a heroic outlaw in English folklore, a highly skilled archer and swordsman. Although not part of his original character, since the beginning of the 19th century he has become known for "robbing from the rich and giving to the poor", assisted by a group of fellow outlaws known as his "Merry Men".Traditionally, Robin Hood and his men are depicted wearing Lincoln green clothes. The origin of the legend is claimed by some to have stemmed from actual outlaws, or from ballads or tales of outlaws.

I like the story of Robin Hood, so I got the sample version of this book. But every time I tried to open it, my nook color screen went black. I had to turn my nook off and back on to even have access to the menu bar at the bottom.

As an avid reader of every Robin Hood I can get my hands on, this version provided and interesting insight to the well known tale. The characters are believable and he includes scenes and characters usully omitted in most other Robin Hoods. The afterword is interesting, but it was slightly depressing. Recomended for all Robin Hood fanatics
