"The Robin's Shadow" - by Leopardwolf I never wanted it to come to this. Just me and this other... thing. Okay, to be truthful, the thing is a she-cat. A very malicious she-cat, but a she-cat nonetheless. The shecat, Shadowhare, was the one who brought me into all of this. All of this madness. And what for? A stupid little shiny stone. A stone that's 'magic' according to Lilyclan's wisest heads, not that I'd necessarily call them that. "Sssoooo," ShadowhareTHE hissed, her yellow-green eyes glinting in the bright moonlight. "Where's the stone, my pretty?" I glared at her. I'm not used to doing that, so what I probably looked like I was a mental cow, but who knows... "I don't have your precious stone!" I spat into the frigid leaf bare atmosphere. I was surprised at my impudence. I mean, you never catch my whiskers saying stubborn lies. Except for today, of course. Well, I guess you could say that Shadowhare and I have a big rivalry, but that doesn't matter now. The only thing that matters is the safety of Lilyclan. MY clan. "Come now, Robinstar," Shadowhare growled, her voice sounding like the cracking of mouse bones. "Together we can rule all three of the clans! Birdclan, Lilyclan, Breezeclan; they'll all be yours!" "I don't care about power! I never cared about power! All I need is my clan." Whoa, was this really me doing the talking? I mean, seriously?! My paws were threatening to fall off in the icyness of the leaf bare night. I needed to do something soon. Time for Operation Run Away. I studied the terrain around me. Suddenly, the sun came up in my head. I glanced quickly at a few trees that were just about five fix-lengths from where I was standing on the leafy ground. "So," I mewed casually. Weird, whenever you say things casually, it usually means something bad. I'll have to use that for future reference. "Can you climb well?" I knew the answer would be yes, of course, as it is with all Lilyclan cats, even the ones who run away. This was all part of my plan. END OF CH. 1 Chapter two will be out soon. Possibly at dalmation res two. I'll keep you updated on the warriors books reviews. Try to be fair with criticizing. Go all out on praise! Rate and review below/above.
