About the Author

Jane A. E. Ogunro (nee Chapman Nyaho) developed an interest in writing children's story books whilst raising her family. However, deeply concerned about the challenges of our times she was inspired to write Psalm 23 An Interpretation, as a source of hope and inspiration.

Born in Ghana, West Africa, the author is a French lecturer at a private college in Pennsylvania. The daughter of Ghana's first Ambassador to the United States and to the United Nations at Independence, she was educated in Ghana, Switzerland, Senegal and the US. Living overseas, her belief in sharing the culture and positive aspects of the African continent among her other interests, lead to her educative lecture on textiles - The Universal Significance of Symbolism in Ghanaian Culture; an acclaimed exhibition in the Weyers-Sampson Art Gallery, Thiel College entitled The Splendour of Kente, A Royal Cloth - Symbol of Dignity, Freedom & Unity and guest appearances at YSU. She also organized a highly successful Ghanaian Cultural Dance Program - Celebration of African Culture, that was part of the Black History Month Festivities on the college campus.
