Prophetic Dreams

Prophetic Dreams

by Jack Taylor

Prophetic Dreams is a collection of digressed thoughts that belong to Jack Taylor. Jack begins the book by telling you where he is in his mind and in his physical body at the present time. The book then wanders to a point in his life where he has been drugged and is lying hypnotized on the floor of his California cottage. While being hypnotized Jack wanders further back to multiple periods of his childhood. Jack relives certain experiences that occurred while living in Minnesota in his aunt and uncle's home. The abuse is so horrific that he resorts to creating an imaginary friend to help guide him through his troubles and give him companionship, The Wizzard.
While still in a hypnotic state, Jack revisits periods in his life when he sold and used drugs. He is then forced to visit a period in his life when his drug life leads him to join drug enforcement. His decision to join the alternate side of the drug community came from the arrival of his daughter, Jessica. Thoughts of Jessica allow Jack to try to better his life and the lives of those around him.
Still drugged, Jack delves further into his memory where he recalls three dreams. One of the dreams that he had appears to him to be prophetic.
Prophetic Dreams is an incredible book of faith, understanding, strength, knowledge, and love. The book elicits deep and profound thoughts. It challenges the weak to be strong. Prophetic Dreams released a gambit of emotions in me that had me laughing, thinking, wondering, imagining, and crying!

This book was at times hard for me to read. Not growing up in an abusive family. I found that some chapters were hard to put down and some I had to take a break. Some I had to wrap my brain around what was happening to Jack. Somethings catching me off guard. I do a lot of reading and this one will stick with me. Be ready to go on a ride that you will not easily to forget. I have sat on Boards for Abused women and children and yes men. I know some of what goes on. This is a subject that needs to be studied and talked about. It needs to be brought out into the open. Women and children need to speak up. There are some children like Jack who can't speak for themselves. Learn what to look for and take a stand. If it weren't for people like Jack no one would know. And even then some women and men don't know it is going on. Wake up America.
